Feb. Julep Maven Bombshell Box Review (Get it FREE!)

Julep February Bombshell Free Box One Cent Box

This February I decided to get the Bombshell Julep Maven Box.  I loved the two nail polish colors included, and I knew they would look great together.  February’s boxes also came with some exciting extras, like the now famous Freedom Topcoat, an Oxygen Nail Treatment, and even an eyelash curler!

Here is what my Bombshell Box contained:

Julep Ginger

Ginger

Sand holographic with a holograph finish.

This color may look like Ginger Samplejust a sand colored polish, but when it’s on my nails there is a whole spectrum of shimmery colors.  It almost has a matte finish, as it is shimmery but not shiny without topcoat.  I absolutely love this color!

Julep Maven Box Review: January It Girl (Plus One Cent Coupon!)

So I haven’t been reviewing my Julep Maven Boxes, but I’ve been getting them every month.  I’m really going to make an effort to test out each polish I receive and share them with you!

I usually go for the Classic with a Twist boxes, but this month I decided to try something new and chose the It Girl Box.  January’s theme for all the boxes was the Resort Collection, Nudes and Neons.  While neons aren’t the first color I think of wearing in winter, I do plan on wearing them more in spring and summer, and maybe adding small touches in winter to brighten up my look.

“Fall Leaves” Gradient Manicure

It’s really starting to look like Fall, and I’ve been completely swept off my feet by the beautiful colors around me!  Walking past some trees that had the brightest shades of reds and oranges inspired me to come up with this nail idea – a fall leaves inspired manicure.

For this look, I used three different colors:

  • Julep “Sheryl” – Sheer gold shimmer.
  • Zoya “Myrta” – Orange with gold shimmer.
  • Julep “Keira” – Deep Merlot red creme.

Springtime Nail Art: Julep Maven Review

Since I never showed you my March Julep Maven Box, I decided better late than never.  I incorporated one of the March colors into my Easter nails, and you’ll also see a preview of one of the new April colors in it as well.

This is my March Julep Box:

Sorry for the too-dark picture.  Inside the March box I received:

Brooke: Sheer shimmery purple.

Jennifer: Sheer pale pink.

Julep Elixir Organic Moroccan Argan Oil: Moisturizing oil famous for healing, conditioning, and anti-aging.  Great for skin, hair, and cuticles.

My First Julep Maven Box

Remember when I posted the Julep Maven Box for $1 deal?  Well, I signed up for it immediately and I hope you did, too; they had some great stuff this month.

Receiving my Julep Maven Box was so exciting, it kind of felt like a tiny little Christmas.  The box itself was so pretty and packaged so nicely, it definitely made me feel a little bit special.  Luckily, I paused long enough to take a picture before tearing into it.  Two minutes after taking this picture, that red confetti stuff was all over my living room, thanks to Baby Braddy.  I’m still finding it in the strangest places.
